We are relocating to the Dallas area! We are originally from Texas and we're looking forward to being back home closer to family! Business will be back up in late June or early July!
Jones Garden and Bee Service is currently based out of Denver, Colorado, and is owned by David and Jennifer Jones. We provide services for your garden (see Jennifer below) and we offer many bee-related services (see David below). This is our first year in business, but we look forward to building a strong business through quality work and word-of-mouth advertising. We are a family of four living in the Denver area on an 'urban homestead'. We strive to grow much of our own food and are always working towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

"I have been gardening for most of my life, but on a more serious level for about four years. I am a firm believer in sustainable gardening practices and I am strictly organic. This means I will never use a pesticide or herbicide on your garden and I will always be sure that anything I do is only beneficial and never harmful. I specialize in herb and vegetable gardening, but also have floral gardening experience. I love being out in the garden with the bugs and the lovely smell of dirt! Denver can have some gardening challenges, but all can be overcome or worked around. Don't ever give up on gardening. Where there is a will there is a way."
Services:
Garden Maintenance: This includes weeding, deadheading, watering, pest control and problem solving. I can do regular garden maintenance for you or just help you get caught up when you feel overwhelmed.
Vegetable/Herb Garden Planting (Available in April and May only) Want a vegetable or herb garden but don't know how to get started? I can help you figure it out and even help you get it started if you would like. If you want a luscious urban food garden but don't have the time to put in to maintain it, I can help you achieve it.
Vacation Garden Care: I can care for your garden while you are gone, and you won't ever have to worry about coming home to a sad garden again.

"Beekeeping was a long studied dream for me. My love of honey and finding a product that included the comb at the store from a local source started me on my journey to become a beekeeper. We spent some time living in the mountains west of Denver and realized the difficulty of keeping bees at such an altitude. I am now an urban beekeeper and I find it very rewarding. I am very passionate about the plight of the bees, and I teach people about bees everywhere I go. They are intriquite and greatly misunderstood creatures."

Swarm Removal: I will remove bee swarms from your property free of charge. A swarm of bees looks like a large ball of bees that clumps onto branches of trees or other objects. These bees are in transit, this is not a permanent home. See below for more information on bee swarms.
Colony Removal: Removing a colony of bees (see below) from a home or property can be highly involved and very difficult. I do charge for removals. This fee covers not only my time and effort, but also the cost of giving the bees a new home.
Hive Installation: If you would like to have a hive installed, I can help you get what you need and set it up for you if you would like.
